DON'T GO THERE!!
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN....and I'm not a picky guy.
I advise Groupon to stop doing business with that terrible restaurant. The food was stale and I almost got food poisoning. The sashimi looked like it was well on its way to decaying and it emited a smell - so I avoided it. They didn;t even charge me for the uneaten sashimi because they knew it had probably gone bad.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They served us our first batch after an hour, and took our first order after 25 minutes had elapsed since we sat down. Our second order came another 45 minutes after we made it. We spent a total of 2 hours in that horrible dirty place and could barely stomach the bad food, having made only 2 orders.
There are many workers there but only one waiter serving 2 FULL floors - he looked miserable and tired, and was not even attentive to our requests and looked distracted. I can't blame him since there was another manager there who was only good at giving orders instead of helping. Terrible behavior and coordination - they will not last long in the UAE F&B industry which is all about quality and respect.
In the first 1/2 hour since we sat down upstairs, 4 families left and stormed off in anger without even eating since they had to wait so long - not a single waiter or manager there with enough guts to take their complaints - it was clear that the restaurant actually wanted them to leave - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN -DISGUSTING.
Their washroom was not clean and the toilet seat was broken. The whole thing seemed like some sort of comedy show - I felt as though I was being punked or was on candid camera. Alas - it was all too real. How does this obnoxious and nauseating resstaurant stay in business is beyond me.
The crab & corn soup was no appetizing and had the consistency of glue.. Taste was not good. Sushi rolls were small and seemed that the recipe and product did not match. Fish was very fresh though so thank you for that!
Maki quality needs improvement.
