Those observing Ramadan can break their fast at this American concept restaurant, with two possible Dubai locations to visit. The set menu meal will feature starters such as caesar salad, onion loaf, fried mushrooms, potato skins or tomato bruschetta, or a soup of the day. Mains may include roasted garlic and rosemary chicken, alfredo chicken, grilled hamour, fish and fries or a gourmet burger, with each diner also choosing a soft drink such as lemonade or orange juice. Customers can choose to dine in or take away.

The Merchant

Tony Roma’s is a traditional American casual family dining restaurant, first opened in Miami, Florida in 1972. Barbecue ribs soon became the restaurant’s speciality dish, and its popularity helped to spread the company’s name. When a Texas financier, and then owner of the Dallas Cowboys, visited in 1976, he was so impressed with the ribs that he established a jointly owned company to fund growth. Today the brand has over 150 restaurants across six continents, with chains everywhere from Los Angeles to Dubai to Tokyo. Despite all this, the focus is still on serving up the food that granted the original restaurant such acclaim, with seafood, burgers, ribs, fries, chicken and other American diner classics all on the menu.
