Surf School Arabia
Surf School Arabia is a partnership between founders Carl and Mari de Villiers and Mohammed Rahma aka “The Stoked Emirati” - the UAE’s first international surfing competitor. This powerhouse of local surf pioneers have come together to launch the first Emirati owned and powered surf school in the UAE and Oman. Surf School Arabia embraces the changing face of watersports in this region, and offers customers professional services backed by a hard-working, reliable and dedicated partnership.
Surfing lessons and board rentals, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) lessons & rentals, SUP Sisters (the UAE’s Girls only SUP program), Kayak rentals and Kids Surf/SUP Parties are just a few of the existing services already offered by the Surf School, with more exciting projects in the pipeline. The Surf School currently operates off Al Khan Beach on the Dubai-Sharjah border, a private beach which offers a combination of great waves for surfing during the swell periods as well as beautifully calm waters for paddleboarding.
Surf School Arabia strives to provide an enjoyable, safe and fully licensed watersports and fitness service to people living and visiting the UAE.
