KatrinaTOP REVIEWERHELPFUL REVIEWER For the price - great value. Brusque driver though with very little communication about proceedings. Be aware that, once there, the falcon on your arm will cost, the scarf being placed on your head will cost, a camel ride for more than 1 minute will cost, free flowing soft drinks only starts with the commencement of dinner and each person has to collect their own - and they run out before the end of the meals - plenty of water though. Food was good and plentiful. Extra cost to have a personal waiter all evening with faster food and drinks aplenty from the moment you arrive. Entertainment was as listed and very enjoyable. Mad round-up at the end of the evening with our brusque driver hurrying us out as soon as the fire dancer finished. We were lucky to have been placed in a car for pickup and drop off (instead of the coach) as there weren’t many bookings that day. The camp is one of many in that area and several companies use the same camp. About 400 people could be accommodated - there were about 330 on our date. Have done Abu Dhabi safari which is much better for dune bashing, falcon (included) holding, henna (free version bigger) camel ride (longer) and time spent at the camp but more expensive.
The collection was easy and Mohammed was very friendly and helpful. The dune drive was such fun with excellent drivers and the desert camp was a good experience. We had a short camel ride, sat on cushions to have the dinner and took sunset photo's. We chose not to take the traditional dressed up photo's and enjoyed the belly dance and fires shows. The evening didn't carry on too late which was perfect for our family and we were dropped off at our hotel which was awesome.
