What is laser eye surgery?

Ultra Lasik surgery aims to improve vision, tending to both long- and shortsightedness. The operation is performed under local anaesthetic, and involves a careful reshaping of the cornea.

What happens at the consultation?

The practitioner will explain the process and perform an eye test. There will then be an opportunity to raise any questions and concerns, and discuss the risks and factors of consideration.

What aftercare is needed?

Clients will need to rest their eyes after the surgery, and are therefore recommended to arrange for a family member or friend to take care of them.

Prior booking (subject to availability) at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Valid for men and women over 18 years of age. Not suitable for pregnant women. Patients must visit the clinic one day before the surgery for the primary test. AED 300 will be paid directly to the centre on the consultation day for corneal topography and Pentacam test. Contact lenses should not be worn for the 3 days preceding the test. Voucher includes surgery fees, consultation and 1-month follow up services.

- Dubai Health Care City, Bldg 27, Block B, Clinic 402 - Mazaya Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai - Abu Dhabi, Delma Street, Villa 1/218 Karama. Surgery will be conducted in Dubai Health Care City Clinic on Thursdays and Fridays. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Valid for option purchased only. Printed voucher must be presented.
