The Experience
Trekking Guide Team Adventure invites travellers to embark on a trekking adventure with a guide to keep the group on the right track while exploring Nepal. Enjoy a journey through the Annapurna mountain range, one of the largest in and around the Himalayas. The trek to the Annapurna Base Camp begins in Pokhara, and includes isolated farms and villages.
Itinerary
Day 1:
- Arrival at Kathmandu airport
- Transfer to hotel
- Overnight stay in Kathmandu at Hotel Thamel, Hotel Holy Himalaya or similar
Day 2:
- Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley, trip to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Squares and areas around Kathmandu, with many cultural and historical sites
- Overnight hotel stay in Kathmandu
Day 3:
- Scenic drive to Pokhara by tourist bus taking 6 hours.
- Refreshments in Pokhara, and rest of the day free for your personal activities.
- Overnight stay in Pokhara at Hotel Splendid View or similar
Day 4:
- 1-hour drive to Nayapul where the trek starts
- Arrive in Birethati, carry on walking to Hille and further to a Magar village, Ulleri
- Overnight stay in a tea house
Day 5:
- Leave Ulleri and hike to Ghorepani through Rhododendron forest (2860m), via Tirkhe Dhunga and Bhurungdi Khola until reaching Nangethanti, then depart to Ghorepani
- Overnight stay in a tea house
Day 6:
- Hike to Poonhill (3210m) to see a sunrise view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre
- Return back and enjoy a 6-hour trek to Chuile (2100m)
- Overnight stay in a tea house
Day 7:
- 5-hour trek to Sinuwa (2360m)
- Overnight stay in a tea house
Day 8:
- 5-hour hike to Deurali (3200m)
- Overnight stay in a tea house
Day 9:
- 4-hour hike to Annapurna Base Camp (4120m)
- Enjoy views of south Annapurna and some of the most challenging peaks to climb such as Singu Chuli (6501m), Tharpu Chuli (5663m) and Hiunchuli (6441m)

Day 10:
- See the sunrise view of the Annapurna I, Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre
- 6-hour trek down to Bamboo (2310m)

- 5-hour trek to Jhinu Danda (natural hot spring - 1780m)

Day 12:
- 5-hour trek to Tolka village (1700m)

Trekking Guide Team adventure Pvt. Ltd shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstance such as government restrictions, landslide, natural disaster, fire, earthquake, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident. Any extra cost incurred there shall be borne by the clients on the spot.
The team is fully licensed and affiliated with the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal Mountaineering Association, Nepal Tourism Board, the Government of Nepal and Sustainable Tourism Network.
Expect to trek about 5-7 hours daily or about 10-14 km per day. It is recommended that you prepare for the trek by suitable training such as climbing hills or stairs, jogging, and gym training to improve your stamina for a few months prior to the trek. If you are considerably fit and do sufficient training prior to arriving in Nepal, the trek will be more enjoyable.
