The Hotel

The Tour

This three-night tour serves as an opportunity to discover some of the gems of Armenia. The adventure starts in Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, hiding numerous museums, art galleries and architecture pearls. Travellers are also invited to visit UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, famous for its classical temple Garni and Lake Sevan, the largest lake in Armenia and the Caucasus region, with its only peninsula being home to a medieval monastery.

The Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan Arrival in Yerevan (Zvartnots Airport) at 11:15. Meeting and greeting. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation. Short Rest. Yerevan City tour: “Mayr-Hayastan” (panoramic view of Yerevan. Cascade complex and open-air museum of contemporary art. Street tour including Republic Square, Yerevan State University, Victory Bridge, Tsitsernakaberd, Sports & Concerts complex, Kiev Bridge, Parliament, Palace of President, Academy of Sciences, Opera house. Overnight in Yerevan.

• Day 2: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
  Breakfast at hotel. Trip to Sevan Lake - pearl of Armenia. Peninsula and churches of Sevan. Sevan, this wonder of nature, is 60km from Yerevan on a highway which cuts northward through mountains and rocks. Sevan has always been famous for its fish “Ishkhan” which means “prince-fish” in Armenian. One of the most interesting sites in Sevan is the monastery on the rocky peninsula founded in 874 AD. Other monuments include Sevan Monastery (874) and Astvatsatsin Church. Tour to Garni Pagan Temple and Geghard Monastery. (Entrance fee - $3 extra). Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

• Day 3: Yerevan - Lake Sevan - Tsakhadzor - Yerevan
  Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Tsakghkadzor (ropeway ticket $4 extra). This district is considered to be Armenian Switzerland. This is a perfect place to admire the beauty of Armenian high mountains and fields with the largest variety of flowers. There is also great funicular railway consisting of three parts. Tsakhkadzor is also known for its old churches. Recently renovated Kecharis monastery is located here. Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

• Day 4: Yerevan After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to airport for the departure. Flight from Zvartnots Airport 12:05am.
