The Experience
Discovery Travel & Tourism brings adventurous sorts into close contact with the wild on an action-packed three-night trip to Kenya, one of East Africa’s most popular destinations. With safari adventures, the trips will take tourists to Masai Mara to find inspiring wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards and black rhinoceros, fascinating cultures, and savannah landscapes.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
- Arrive at Nairobi Airport
- Meet/greet by tour representative and briefed/introduced to your safari driver guide and transferred to Lake Elementaita in the Rift Valley. Approx 165km - 3-hour drive via Great Rift Valley
- Brief photo session at the Observation Point
- 1pm arrive at Sentrim Lake Elementaita for check-in and lunch
- Free time to relax and unwind up at the lodge
- Optional (at extra cost): Entry to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive ($80 per adult / $40 per child)
- Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Lake Elementaita Lodge or similar
- Meal plan: lunch and dinner
Day 2: Masai Mara - approx. 270km (5-hour drive)
- 6.30am Breakfast at the lodge
- 7.30am Depart after check-out and head to the famous Masai Mara game reserve. Drive via farmlands inhabited by the Masai community
- 1pm Approximate arrival into Sentrim Mara Camp for check-in then lunch
- After lunch have an hour to relax
- 4pm Afternoon game drive in the plain of Masai Mara in search of wildlife; All members of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and Black Rhinoceros) are found in the Mara
- 6.30pm Return to the tented camp after game drive for dinner and overnight
- Overnight: Sentrim Mara Camp or similar
- Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 3: Masai Mara
- 6am Wake up
- 6.30am Depart for an early morning game drive to see the nocturnal animals trying to get the last catches before they go to sleep
- 8.30am Return to the lodge for buffet breakfast
- 10am-midday spend the morning at leisure * Depart after breakfast at 8am and return by 6pm at no extra cost or stay in the camp and have lunch at the camp’s dining room at 12.30pm
- After lunch have an hour to relax
- 4pm Depart for an afternoon game drive
- 6.30pm Return to the tented camp for dinner and overnight
- Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 4: Departure (Mara, Nairobi: approx 280km, approx 5-hour drive)
- 7am Breakfast at the tented camp
- After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Nairobi
- Arrive in Nairobi by midday
- Lunch own account/own arrangements. Flight home

Excludes: Visa fees (for certain nationalities, Kenyan visa can be easily obtained at the JKI Airport for $50 per person supplement; no photos required), travel and medical insurance, all other expenses that are personal in nature, all other items that are not mentioned in the deal and expenses like laundry, beverages, bar bill, telephone, mineral water, tips, porterage, etc.
Transportation details:
Valid for flights from Dubai airport to Nairobi airport. Included: up to 30 Kg check-in luggage and 1 small hand bag of up to 5 kg. Travel documents to be received up to 1 day before departure. You must go with your boarding pass printed at the airport, at the risk of having to pay additional charges. Depending on flight schedules and transfers, the first or the last night might not be entirely spent in the hotel.
A passport valid for at least 6 months after your return date is mandatory.
