The Itinerary
Day 1, Arrival Day, Batumi:
- Arrive at the airport in Batumi and head to the hotel for an overnight stay
Day 2, Batumi City Tour:
- After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a Batumi city tour; Batumi is the second largest city in Georgia and an important seaport for the entire country is located in the Black Sea bay; while on the tour see the famous statues: the steel statue of love - Ali and Nino, the Medea statue, and the statue of Apollo, then take a beach walk along Batumi Boulevard.
Day 3, Batumi - Mtskheta - Tbilisi:
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Mtskheta, a UNESCO world heritage site and former capital of Georgia, visit The Holy Cross Church, which dates back to the 6th century, and The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, built in the 11th century and being a cradle of Christianity in Georgia; later that day head to Tbilisi for an overnight stay.
Day 4, Tbilisi City Tour:
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel an embark on a Tbilisi city tour. Tbilisi is the capital city of Georgia that rests at the foothills of the Trialeti mountain range, on the banks of Mtkvari River; the city is a cultural, industrial and social centre of the country; while on the tour visit Metekhi Church, situated on the cliff and overlooking the Mtkvari River, discover the famous Sulfur Baths, and see the historic Narikala Fortress; visit Meidani Square and walk on Shardeni street with its cosy cafes and art galleries, pass the Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica, and discover the cosmoipolitan atmosphere of Rustaveli Avenue. Stay overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 5, Departure:
- After breakfast at the hotel, be transferred to the airport for a flight home
