About This Deal
The Treatment
What is DNA testing?
DNA is the genetic material inherited by every human being from his or her parents (50% of the Father, and 50% of the mother) and accordingly everyone inherits two strains “Haplogroup”, paternal haplogroup, coming through the Y-DNA and inherited by males only from the paternal side (father and then his father and so on ..), and maternal haplogroups, coming through the X-Chromosome and inherited by males and females from the maternal side (mother and then her mother and so on..).
What does the DNA test say?
The haplogroups are divided based on the geographical bases. These tests focus on the geographical original and distribution of either the paternal or maternal haplogroups, results including comparison between the client result and the whole database to tested persons around the world, if anyone is matching our results that will reflect the he or she shared us a common ancestor.
1) Y-DNA test: applicable for males only, women who wish to determine their direct paternal ancestry can ask a father, brother, paternal uncle, paternal grandfather or cousin who shares the same lineage to collect the samples.
2) mtDNA test: applicable for males and females

Customers are required to provide a DNA sample either by visiting the lab in Dubai, or by ordering the home sample collection kit at home. Kit will be delivered to clients by courier service (extra 65 AED for courier), and will include instructions of how to collect the samples.
