The DWC raceday features three of the most valuable contests in the world of racing the US$5 million Dubai Sheema Classic, presented by Longines, the US$5 million Dubai Duty Free, sponsored by Dubai Duty Free and the famed US$10million Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates Airlines. Those events hold Group One status and are joined by the Dubai Golden Shaheen, sponsored by Gulf News, the Al Quoz Sprint, sponsored by Emirates NBD and the Dubai Kahayla Classic for Purebred Arabians and sponsored by Emaar. Additionally, the day includes the Group Two UAE Derby, sponsored by The Saeed and Mohammed Al Naboodah Group and Godolphin Mile, sponsored by Etisalat. In 2012, the Group Three Dubai Gold Cup, sponsored by Al Tayer Motors, joined the programme as a 3,200 metre turf event with a purse of US$1 million. Apron Views Situated between the track and the Meydan Grandstand, the expansive Apron will be home to the famous Bubble Lounge and Irish Village catering to everyone’s fizzy favourites and hosting the Jaguar Style Stakes. The competitions for the 2013 Dubai World Cup ‘Best Dressed Lady’, ‘Best Dressed Man’, ‘Best Dressed Couple’, ‘Best Hat’, ‘Most Creative Hat’ and ‘Longines Most Elegant Lady’ are expected to be fiercely contested and to attract even more contestants, as Dubai’s increasingly styleconscious racegoers battle it out for the fantastic prizes on offer. Registration forms will be available from the Jaguar Style Stakes Arena. Ensure you plan ahead of time as entries are limited. A variety of food and beverages are readily available for sale on a cash basis in the food court, situated inside the Meydan Grandstand on the Ground Floor; the airconditioned concourse provides a welcoming respite for guests. Guests can enter the Food Court area directly from the Apron. Admission only. Premium Seating 3 The Premium Seating 3 area is situated behind Premium Seating 2 after the finish line and offers a good view of the horseracing and entertainment planned for the Dubai World Cup opening ceremony. Guests can soak up the electric atmosphere in this outdoor area from the comfort of their own reserved numbered seat. Food and beverages are readily available from the inside areas behind the seats. Guests can enjoy their food either inside with the comfort of air conditioning or outside at their seat in order not to miss the racing action. This package is inclusive of selected beverages, soft drinks excluding freshly squeezed fruit juices, afternoon tea and gourmet dinner snacks. Guests enter through the IMAX Entrance their badge will also allow them access to the Apron Views area and the Parade Ring Lawns. Each guest will have a unique seat number on their ticket and this will be their reserved seat for the entire day. This is an outdoor package and guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen. Sky Bubble The Sky Bubble is located beneath Meydan’s iconic crescent roof with 360 degree views of Dubai’s skyline. Enjoy live cooking station, selected beverages and soft drinks. There will be a free seating lounge and table setup, so guests will have the opportunity to change their seats throughout the day.
