Partner Relationship Manager

Summary of Role
The “heart-beat” of the company; the Groupon Partner Management Team is responsible for project managing the operational experience and building relationships with businesses featured on Groupon. 
Partner Management is a dynamic, multi-faceted ‘front office’ role: involving essential internal and external communication from senior management across all company departments; and business partners to develop positive, long term relationships to maximise their Groupon experience.
The position is a varied role, working alongside experienced professionals and entrepreneurs, from established international and national brands, such as Blackberry and leading hotel chains  to up and coming local businesses, all benefiting from advertising and customer acquisition on Groupon.
 Your Responsibilities
 Accurately logging all partner cases in salesforce 
 Working within given agreed KPI’s – resolving partner cases in conjunction with PRM support and internal departments as and when required 
 Ensure that partner activity is properly communicated to the salesperson when needed
 Ensure write up’s mirror partner contractual agreement
 Develop initiatives to improve overall partner satisfaction with Groupon’s services
 Assist with developing merchant satisfaction surveys
 Act as the partners’ first aftersales point of contact; provide full aftersales support to Groupon partners
 Inform partners of their scheduled go-live date
 Ensure partners are properly briefed and ready to be featured as per the city plan
 Communicate the value of merchant service tools to the partner  
 Build strong partner relationships through media plans and testimonials

Customer Service Superstar

Summary of Role
Customer Support Representatives are the voice of Groupon to our subscribers. They are patient, resourceful, charming, and efficient problem-solvers who strive to provide only the best customer experience. The role entails phone and email communication with our current and future subscribers, thus playing a vital role in affecting the reputation of Groupon. Customer Service Superstars must be able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and will have a high degree of responsibility as part of a successful, committed and fun team. 
Your Responsibilities
 Customer Services:
 Provide top notch customer support that leaves the customer happy and satisfied
 Handle customer tickets generated by phone or email through the online ticketing system
 Resolve customer complaints and queries in a professional and appropriate manner 
 Handle escalations from the call centre agents as directed by the CS Supervisor
 Ensure Kpi’s and targets are met on a on-going basis
 Liaise with other internal departments (when needed) to resolve open customer tickets
 Ensure that all customer enquiries and complaints are properly documented using the online ticketing system
 Provide continuous customer feedback to internal departments to improve editorial, sales and partnership management processes
 Develop periodic reports on ticket resolution times and deal complaints
 Work with the CS Supervisor and Manager on developing initiatives to ensure that customers are always happy with the overall Groupon experience
 Ensure an efficient handover of returned products are distributed and documented in a timely manner to the logistics department
 Performs assigned duties as and when instructed by department Supervisor or Manager
 Reception Duties:
 Provide First class front line support to our front of house desk
 Ensure that the phone is answered in a timely fashion and the caller is greeted with a smile
 Greet our partners, customers and potential employees with a smile
 Ensure that the correct procedure is followed when releasing cheque payments to our partners
 Ensure that  the systems and documents used for  ‘Event Tickets’ are kept up to date and accurate  
 Required skills:
 Fluent in English and/or Arabic with an excellent standard of written and spoken communication

 Ability to handle high-volume tickets in a high-stress environment

Business Development Managers (Dubai & Abu Dhabi)

Summary of Role
The main responsibility of a Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager is to develop and perform all sales activities surrounding the Groupon model. Through a consultative approach to client management and sales, you will understand your clients business in order to construct a mutually beneficial offer for our subscribers. In turn this will increase the partner’s customer base and generate upsell opportunities. You will become a vital part of your clients marketing and business plans.
 Responsibilities include but not limited to:


Liaising with local businesses on negotiable offers for our subscribers
ŸResponsible for managing all aspects of the deal – from identifying leads, face to face contact, presentation of Groupon and closing of deals
ŸEnsuring that leads are continually generated and existing contacts and business are routinely maintained
ŸResponsible for carrying out work related instructions issued by your City Manager
ŸOrganise meetings with prospective businesses
