Home to human settlers and their stone tools since 25,000 BC, modern Krabi is an archipelago of coral coves and blissful beaches. An unblemished and beautiful island lying on the shores of Andaman Sea, the historic Ban Thai Samor remains home to ten subdivided populaces whose hospitality is as unmatched as its natural wonders. A fast developing hot spot for ecotourism, Krabi is adorned by the ivory of whitewashed limestone cliffs and has some of the best of rock climbing, camping, bird watching, caving and trekking Thailand has to offer. A southern province preserved in its un-colonised state and with rich cultural heritage, Krabi’s strong Muslim community has influenced the flavours of the local cuisine; wafts of fragrant curry with peanuts and sweet potatoes or the scent of a tamarind-laced fish broth transform a visit into an all-consuming experience.

A phrasebook will come in handy to fully experience this laidback location, as there are plenty of local dialects to discover and few people speak English.
We stayed at Pakasai for 6 nights, I highly recommend you stay here it is in a perfect location, approximately a 5 minute walk from the beach, restaurants and markets. The resort offers reasonably priced buffet dinners. This resort is green, clean and the staff were lovely.
